Private by design
Files are processed on your device. When you select a file for a tool, its contents are handled in your browser and are not uploaded to aliy.in. We do not receive, store, or review your files or completed outputs.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to aliy.in and the browser-based utilities available on it. It does not govern third-party websites or services that you choose to visit or open from the site.
2. Files and tool inputs
- Selected files and the content you enter into tools stay within your browser during normal processing.
- Processing does not require an aliy.in account, and aliy.in does not keep a server copy of your files or results.
- Your browser or device controls where downloaded results are saved.
- If you leave or reload a tool before saving a result, aliy.in cannot recover it for you.
3. Other information handled
Website requests and security data
Like most websites, the hosting and security service that delivers aliy.in may process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, referring page, and security events. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems. It does not include the contents of files you process with the tools.
Anonymous first-party session analytics
To understand aggregate site use, aliy.in sends one small page-view event to an aliy.in endpoint when a page loads. It records only the page path (never the query string), time of the visit, a random anonymous session ID, the referring website's domain when available, a coarse device category (desktop, tablet, or mobile), and the country code supplied by Cloudflare.
The session ID is kept only in sessionStorage for the current browser tab/session and expires when that session ends. This analytics does not use cookies or localStorage.
The analytics system does not collect or store raw IP addresses, full User-Agent strings, device or browser fingerprints, file names or contents, tool inputs or outputs, query strings, or persistent identifiers.
This data is used only to understand aggregate page views, sessions, pages per session, popular pages, referrers, countries, and device categories so we can maintain and improve the site.
Information you provide
If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, and any other information you choose to send. We use it to respond, provide support, and maintain necessary records.
4. Local storage, cookies, and similar technologies
aliy.in uses browser storage to remember choices such as your theme, bookmarked tools, and—where a tool offers them—settings, favorites, or recent history. This information stays in your browser and is not used to identify you across other websites. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls.
Separately, the anonymous analytics session ID described above is stored only in sessionStorage and is sent with page-view events during that browser tab/session. It is not stored in a cookie or localStorage and is not used to recognize you across browser sessions or other websites.
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to route traffic, protect the site, and distinguish legitimate visitors from malicious traffic. You can learn more in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and cookie documentation.
If third-party advertising is enabled, advertising partners, including Google, may place and read cookies in your browser to deliver and measure advertisements, as described in Section 6 below.
5. Third-party services
The site requests web fonts from Google when a page loads. This request may share standard connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, with Google. Google's handling of that information is described in its Privacy Policy.
Ko-fi and Trakteer support options are third-party services. Their interactive features are loaded only after you choose to open them. Those providers may then use cookies or similar technologies and process information under their own policies. Review the Ko-fi Privacy Policy or Trakteer Privacy Policy before using those services.
6. Advertising and cookies
aliy.in may display third-party advertisements to support the site. When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads on our website.
When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to aliy.in and other websites. These cookies allow Google and its certified partners to deliver relevant advertisements and measure ad performance.
aliy.in does not send the files, tool inputs, or completed outputs you process to advertising partners.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's ad settings or through industry opt-out portals:
For visitors in regions requiring cookie consent (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or certain US states), advertising cookies and personalization adhere to applicable legal consent choices and privacy controls.
7. Retention and security
aliy.in does not retain the files or outputs you process. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosting and third-party providers apply their own retention periods.
Anonymous analytics events are retained by our hosting provider for up to three months. aliy.in does not copy them into a separate long-term analytics store.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the site, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You can clear aliy.in's local data in your browser, block cookies through browser settings, avoid opening optional third-party support services, or stop using the site. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control.
Because tool files are not sent to us, we cannot access, export, or delete a file that remains only on your device.
9. Children's privacy
aliy.in is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, its providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
