Tips for a natural bass boost

Start gently. A +3 to +6 dB boost around 80 to 140 Hz often adds weight without making voices or drums muddy. Move Bass focus higher when you want more punch rather than deeper rumble.

Keep peak protection enabled for most music. If the result feels too loud, lower Bass amount or choose a gentler preset instead of stacking multiple strong boosts. WAV or FLAC are useful when you want a lossless result for later editing.

When should you use Bass Booster?

Use it when a song, voice clip, podcast intro, or video soundtrack sounds thin on your headphones, car speakers, or small Bluetooth speaker. It is useful for giving a finished file a fuller low end without rebuilding the whole mix.

Bass boosting cannot repair distortion, remove noise, or create bass that was never captured. Check the original first if it already sounds boomy or clipped.
